REVIEW | COLOURPOP BLOTTED LIP

ColourPop Blotted Lip L-R: On A Stick/Bees Knees/Candy Floss/Drip/Brain Freeze/Sucker/Ice Cube.

I've been a massive fan of ColourPop since the brand was released back in 2014. They offer affordable, high quality makeup in unique colours & finishes. The company is based out of L.A. & has a massive Social Media, as well as celebrity following (It's rumoured that ColourPop's Matte Liquid Lipsticks are the same formula as Kylie Jenner's). So I had high hopes for these Blotted Lips when they were released. The company describes them as "Weightless, diffused, & natural", & I'd have to agree with that description. They're sheer, like a stain, but they have matte finish & are moisturizing on the lips. They give your lips that "just bitten" appearance, or like a popsicle stain. Also, did I mention that they're only $5.00 a pop? I've been living in these recently since in the warmer months I'm not into rocking a full coverage matte lip. I prefer something sheer or glossy, & these are perfect for that. They're not the longest wearing lipsticks I own, but because of the sheer formula they're easy to just swipe on & go, you don't have to be that precise. There are currently 11 shades in the lineup, & I want every one. ColourPop is proudly cruelty free.

The Verdict? YES. Super affordable, cute colours, cruelty free, & comfortable on the lips. Go get 'em.
